December 22, 2007— TOUS, a family-run jewelry store that originated
from Spain, partnered up with Def Jam recording artist Chrisette Michele
for a holiday shopping event to remember.
The Alpharetta store (a suburb of Atlanta) at North Point Mall was
transformed into an event fit for the stars with a red carpet and velvet ropes
leading up to the stores entrance. Patrons enjoyed wine and chocolate
covered strawberries while shopping for Tous’ signature bear adorned
jewelry, handbags and perfume.
Just as the eager shopping crowd grew to an overflow into the corridor of
the mall, Chrisette came out and welcomed everyone to the event and
performed singles from her debut album I Am. The songstress sang “Like
A Dream,” “Golden,” “Let’s Rock” plus the Grammy nominated “If I Have My
Way.”
With every purchase, patrons received a holiday gift plus a signed copy of I
Am. So after Chrisette’s performance, she came back out to meet and
greet her fans signing cd’s, autographs and taking pictures all while
wearing the same warm smile that she wears on her album cover.
At a time when procrastinators were scrambling to purchase their last
minute Christmas gifts, Tous’ holiday shopping event was the perfect
solution providing music for the soul and some “beary” nice gift ideas.
