The 2nd Annual Leading Ladies International Conference

substance. It will feature an amazing lineup of speakers who will
help ignite our audience and guide them on the path to live the at
motivating and inspiring our audience with open, candid and
honest dialogue in an atmosphere of fellowship and camaraderie.
Moderator: Nicole Dunbar, Panelists: Amy Wright (Endorsement deal guru)
Denise Hendricks (Oprah/Monique Show producer), Larvetta Loftin (Leading
Ladies creator), Stephanie Clark (Essence.com blogger/ Nat'l Dir of Project Single
Moms), Adrene Ashford (Celeb Stylist), and Kim Ford (JubileeMag.com publisher)
Larvetta Loftin (creator of 'Leading Ladies') follows me on Twitter and asked me
to host the Atlanta leg of the 'Leading Ladies' tour. You never know who's
watching you. Make sure you have something noteworthy to say...
My first task was to open in prayer. Next, I started the Ice Breaker Challenge: Find
as many people you can and ask them: 1. What brings you joy? 2. What did you
laugh about recently? 3. What's your vision for yourself?
Next, the panel discussion started. Nicole Dunbar was the moderator. Panelists: Amy
Wright (Endorsement deal guru), Denise Hendricks (Oprah/Monique Show producer),
Stephanie Clark (Essence.com blogger), Adrene Ashford (Celeb Stylist).
Adrene Ashford, celeb stylist and owner of "Pieces of Adrene" boutique was
accepted into law school but kept postponing her admissions to start her boutique.
10 years later, she's still pursuing her passion in fashion with a Adrene Ashford,
celeb stylist and owner of "Pieces of Adrene" boutique. She's well-established track
record. She shared a story about when she was on the road worked with everyone
from Kimora Lee Simmons, Jennifer Hudson, T.I and so many with Jennifer Hudson
and her boutique kept getting broken into 5 times that year. She canceled her
contract with Jennifer and came back to Atlanta. She noticed that the incident started
to turn her into a cold person. Adrene's advice: "Dont allow hurtful situations to turn
you into a cold person. Grow above them."
Stephanie Clark shared wisdom from her journey. She's an Essence.com blogger
learned..."Never let a relationship become so 'good' that it pulls you away from what
God put you on earth to complete.
Amy Wright is a senior advertising and entertainment marketing professional for
Images USA. Think of any celeb with an endorsement deal and she probably had
something to do with it. Awesome woman of God.
Denise Hendricks (Oprah/Monique Show producer) shared a touching story about
both of her parents passing away after she graduated from FAMU. "No matter what
your road is, 'life' happens. Have the heart to blaze through it!"
Moderator Nicole Dunbar kept the flow going. She shared a quote from her pastor,
"One woman's obedience to her call in life is connected to the DESTINY of
thousands." Obey so they can live..."
Great crowd of women.
Rolling Out mag was in the building.
