Corynne Corbett (ESSENCE Beauty Director), served as the moderator.
Carlton Jones (stylist for Halle Barry, Tyra Banks, Lenny Kravits and many others)
gave great tips. "Once you know your body, fit it everything."
Johnny Wright (SoftSheen-Carson Artistic Style Director and Celebrity Hairstylist to First Lady Michelle
Obama) is always on point with his tips and sense of humor. "Stop walking around thinking you look like
the girl in the magazine, because you don't. She's been airbrushed. It's ok to have a hair out of place."
Great questions from the audience.
A few casting call hopefuls await their turn, including actress Jazmine Burke (The Secret Life of Bees,
Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son)
Bria and our publisher Kim Ford had a great chat together. What advice did mom (model Nicole Murphy)
and dad Eddie Murphy give Bria about pursuing her career? "With confidence, you can do anything!"
